Dolphin Studio Workshop
Poole's proud emblem's name was adopted by the group some decades ago.
While the drawing group's members explore the boundaries of experimental art, it mainly concentrates on Life-drawing.
The workshop meets every Tuesday at the United Reformed Church Hall in Skinner Street, Poole, Dorset. 10am to 12.30pm.
There is a membership fee that can be paid termly or annually, along with a weekly contribution towards the cost of the model.
All work is figure based, mainly nude, with a wide variety of models and occasionally two models posing together as a tableau.
Members work in a wide variety of media and although there is no tuition, there is much discussion and sharing of ideas during the breaks.
Many of the members have exhibited locally and country-wide. We have our own group exhibition in the Autumn.
